Analyze the most complex thing on earth - Relationship

Duniya mein hum saare, yaadon ke hai maare...is what the title song of 'Yaadein' chimes! Isn't it true. We come on earth only to be remembered for our good deeds. And the only way to make people remember you is to make relation with them! Relation of connecting with their emotions rather than being limited by the name of the relation. How many of us try that? How many of us even try to connect with people with whom we have named relation? Lots of people say that they go beyond what is obivious to achieve results. But I have seen very few people going beyond obivious i.e. losing their egos to make someone else in the relation happy! We keep looking for problems around the world to get the recognition by providing innovative solutions, what is the solution to broken relations?

ITs interesting that you should talk about this. cause I for one believe this has no answer and the answers you do have are personal and subject to perception and one's personal system of belief.

Mine for one draws a line between ego and being happy. People are the most complex creatures to have walked the earth. No relationship is without hurdles. Not even with your parents. Have you noticed that we let our egos get badgered by our parents but still run back to them! Its because of the knowledge and trust that they have your best interests in heart and even though what they do at times are not the right thing, the intention behind it is good. That is important. Its the cognizance of that fact that lets us detach the ego from us and crawl back to them.

Whatever be the relationship, its important to put one in thier shoes and see why they did what they did. I heard someone say this about working with people in an oraganization. he said " Its important to ask questions and understand why the person thinks/behaves they way he did, instead of quarreling". think about it, this applies the most to relationships. Yes , you will be angry at times, take your time, let yourself cool down, take a walk, have a drink, and then sit with the other person and try to reason out the scenario. You will be surprised how much mis communication has occured.

Then of course there is the most important question of who is worth it. Every tom, dick and harry you come across is not worth your time. THere are people who will never understand you and like you for who you are. In those cases, its best you don't spoil your time and effort. I for one wont. The people for whom you spend your time should be truly worth it. If you think a person makes even a tiny contribution to your life, or simply makes you smile, they deserve your attention.

Like i said, its personal. To me this is how it is.
