Here is then the crux:
Most of the US universities realize the source of their income i.e. India. Thus more and more universities are trying to follow up the routine procedures that are followed in Indian Curriculum. This is to provide the comfort level to students in order to retain them. Thus in order to really learn something in your masters career, you yourself will have to exploit the technology that is available at a great ease. The curriculum for MIS is not something you don't find in India, but its the surroundings that make these institutes continue at this scale...

MIS after working in this profile for 2years with L&T. i am basically from electrical background. For going for Ms in MIS, is it necessary for having a computer science background. please suggest..!!
